FRIENDS, POEMS AND BEING A DEVIANT.

Greetings! Life is quiet here in Oz, my family are all well and my health is stable.
I have been doing a number of sporks lately, and have enjoyed them immensly. Perry is downloading and editing them all, then I'll post them here in Memories.
I have become a Deviant! Gwen has her art there as Crystal Seraph, now I'm there too as morriganscrow. I've posted my Sirius and Remus poems, and am preparing several others for posting at the moment. This is the most public I've ever been with my work, and I must admit I'm nervous as hell abou it. What will people say? Will anyone read it at all? Wiil I get decent feedback?
I've also friended a lass, Frankenspam, and she me. She has schitzophrenia and a fab attitude. She also has a mad sense of humour. I'm chuffed as she's the first non-family Net friend on my list. Woohoo for me, meeting new and interesting folk.
Well, gotta go. Piles of poetry to type. TTFN

I work with a woman--two, actually--from different parts of Oz. Both of them miss the weather, though not the spiders; I'm such an arachnaphobe that if I ever went on vacation there, I'd be in knee-high boots the entire time. They've told me some spider horror stories that make me want to shake out my shoes every morning.

Hi there. You left me a comment in my journal about joining [info]smut_wednesday. I replied, and expect you'll probably get an email notification with that, but just so as not to confuse you unduly - I had to delete the reply on my journal, in order to be able to screen your comment. Due to RL, I don't normally mention the community there in anything but locked posts - which is why I made it in the first place :)

As I said in my reply, yuo are very welcome to watch the community. There are only four actual members at any one time - myself and four other artists who post on alternating Wednesdays, with or without guests. This is all listed in the user-info of course, but I'm quite aware that we are only a select few on Livejournal who ever actually read those! ;)

Anyway - welcome to s-w. I'm pleased you like the community. :)

i've been trying to read your poetry at da and i wanted to say how much i enjoy and appreciate it. please continue to post them.

i was especially touched by your depression poem. when it's happening you feel like you're the only one, and to read something that expresses it so nicely makes one feel less alone.

Firstly, I'm sorry it's taken me a while to reply, as my journal's been in a bit of a mess lately. Second, thanks for the kind words about my poetry, its vry much appreciated.
I've had major depression since I was 14, and I'm now 46, so it's a familiar place for me. Not easier, just more familiar. I'm glad the poem spoke to you, and if I can ever help in any way, please let me know. This is a genuine offer, BTW.

Hey! I noticed you friended me--I'm just commenting to tell you I friended you back! I've seen some of your sporking on Deletrious, it's great! I'd post a spork but I'm only just getting into fanfiction. I just love reading the sporkings and marvelling over the stupidity of some authors.
